Enrolling in the retirement plan can be easier than you think

One way to help prepare for your financial future is to enroll in your employer’s retirement savings plan. It may help provide you some of the retirement savings you will need when you stop working. And the sooner you enroll, the sooner you start saving for your retirement goals.

Schulte Hospitality Group’s 401(k) plan features a quarterly automatic enrollment provision that automatically enrolls newly eligible associates who meet certain qualifications, including a minimum age of 21 and one year of employment with a minimum of 1,000 hours worked.  Upon meeting these requirements, newly eligible associates enter the plan at the beginning of the next calendar quarter with an automatic contribution of 3%.

To help newly eligible SHG associates get acclimated to SHG’s 401(k) retirement plan, The Principle Group, SHG’s 401(k) provider hosts an educational WebEx session that eligible associates are encouraged to attend.  SHG associates, including corporate, regional or hotel, who wish to learn more about SHG’s 401(k) plan, whether already participating or not.
